Mr. Dhaval Mehta

CEO & Founder, Globestar Edutech Pvt. Ltd. and Globestar TNI Career Counselling

Graduating from University of Michigan in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Economics (High Honors), Mr. Mehta started his career with investment banking with RSM Equico as a senior analyst in LA and thereafter for BOA Securities in their Oil, Gas & Power division in NY. He then moved to Kotak-Goldman Sachs' IBanking where he worked for 3 years and was responsible for raising capital through IPO and M&A. He worked with DLF on it’s IPO which raised $2 billion. In total he helped raise $6 billion ($5 billion thru Equity & $1 billion thru M&A). After 6 years of experience in Ibanking he moved to the VC industry working for Summit Partners.

In 2014, Mr. Mehta set up TeacherNi - an outcome based dashboard that reached over 500+ institutions in India & US which was purchased in 2017 after which he decided to get a certificate in College Advising & Professional Development from Columbia University and set up TNI Career Counselling to help institutions, students & professionals achieve their career goals. He is also credited for his contributions as the president of UMIAA and completed the Executive Program in Management (EPM) from the Johnson School of Business, Cornell University in 2021.
